12. LINK SWITCH
This key is a stereo link control. When it doesn't been pressed
down, procomp 4 works at mono control mode, channel 1 and
channel 2 are separately independent. Procomp 4 is a two
indepedent noise gate limiter, It can deal with different signals
from both channels. This is the standard working state.
Press it down, the green led illumined on the left side indicates
that the machine working on stereo control mode, channel 1
and channel 2 are linked, both channels are at work. Channel 1
is the master, it adjusts all the controls parameter of both
channels except INPUT GAIN. ( please note which channel's
limited switch hasn't been pressed down, that channel won't be
controlled by the stereo mode ). This function is suitable for
processing stereo programs.
13. OUTPUT CONNECTOR
Connect this connector to the input of your power amplifier (
balanced output )
14. INPUT CONNECTOR
Connect this connector to the output of your mixer ( balanced
input )
15. POWER SUPPLY SELECTOR
Countries are not the same power supply voltage. This selector
is used to choose the good voltage.
16. AC CONNECTOR / FUSE
Used to connect the AC mains power to the unit.
To protect your mixer from different kinds of AC problems. If the
mixer is « ON » and nothing lights, please verify the fuse
compartment. If the fuse is broken, please remove it and
change by a new one of same size and values.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
BST equipment is covered by a 1-year warranty on parts and labour
except for Crossfaders (90 days).
The following rules apply from the day the equipment leaves the
factory:
The date on the invoice is considered to be the date the warranty
begins.
Only companies approved by BST are allowed to work on the
equipment. Warranty becomes void when other service technicians
open the equipment.
During warranty period, defective equipment must be sent by pre-
paid mail in the original box.
BST will return the goods by pre-paid mail during the first year of
warranty; thereafter the mailing cost is to be paid by the recipient
Potentiometers have a limited lifetime and are not covered by the
manufacturer for more than normal use.
