DEVICE FUNCTIONNING
1. SNA 50-2 is sound level regulator which allows to limit the acoustic pressure in broadcasting amplified music area. (night
club,bar,concert etc...).The technology used allows to control the acoustic pressure without modify spectral signal input:
SNA 50-2 don't modify the dynamic of signal but the average level of it.
2. The set of control carries out depending on time, according to one of Leq level configurated in the equipment. There exists
four parameters separated Leq levels: 2 are used in normal fonctioning (level day and night 1) whereas the two others
enables a functioning when it is opened( level day and night 2).

DEFINITIONS
 Level Leq 1 min: Equivalent continuous acoustic pressure level computed on 1 minutes.
Level Leq 10 min: Equivalent continuous acoustic pressure level computed on 10 minutes.
Short level Leq: Short equivalent continuous acoustic pressure level. In case of SNA 50-2, time interval on which is

Parameter "hour day  night": with this parameter we define, time on which starts the regulation in using night

 Parameter "hour night  day": with this parameter we define, the time on which the equipment finishes the
SNA 50-2 can be used according to 4 modes :
1°) SENSOR MODE : MODE 1

In this case, the control carries out according to measured acoustic pressure at sensor level, in broadband. ( This mode can
be used in a structures where there is no acoustic emergence problem).
To be effective, interference noises of room should not interfere with the acoustic measurement. (Example: interference
noises louder than the broadcast).
2°) LINE MODE : MODE 2

In this case, the control carries out in broadband on power signal of broadcasting chain. The surrounding noise is not take
account. This mode is interesting in structures where interference noises can not be disregard to broadcasting. (sensor close
to public, bottom cielling.)
Mode2 : Levels Leq Day2, Leq Night1, Leq Night2 are not take account. You must put the same parameter than the level
Leq Day1.
For PACK norm, configure link type of AFF16.
