Working from underneath the cover, tighten the
bronze nut by hand, then moderately using a
22 tube wrench. Take care not to damage the
o-ring.

- Insert the o-ring into the groove cut into the outer edge of the lid.
- Check that the upper, inner section of the filter tank and the seal around the lid are clean.
- Remove the plug from the Collector pipe.
- Position the lid such that the PUMP and RETURN unions are facing the pump return union (13).
- Fit the lid onto the filter tank. The collector pipe should fit into the diffuser under the lid (14).
- Mount the lid following the instructions provided below.
- Using the ring, assemble the cover and filter tank. Tighten firmly by hand only (15).
Glue the connecting piece into position between the 3 part union on the filter side and the union on the pump
outlet.

Mounting the diffuser:
Centre the diffuser with respect to its housing,
position it and push it against the lid, rotate the
diffuser such that the tab on the diffuser slides
fully into the U-shaped groove in the lid.
