ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Walking cane Quadro
1. INTENDED USE
The Walking cane - Quadro has four small feet that ensure
a wide surface area, providing increased stability. The
ergonomic handle fits comfortably in the hand and helps
to absorb shocks. The height of the walking stick can be
adjusted.
2. RISKS & WARNINGS
The evaluation of all risks by VITILITY risk management
showed that the remaining residual risk is as low as reason-
ably possible.
2.1 SAFETY GUIDELINES
Please ensure the product is in a faultless condition before
use.
2.2 POTENTIAL RISKS
- SLIPPING AND FALLING
Slipperiness or instability can cause slipping or falling, with
a risk of injury.
- USE BY YOUNG CHILDREN
This product is not suitable for children under 6 years. Use
is only allowed under strict adult supervision to prevent
possible dangers or misuse.
2.3 WARNINGS
The product must be replaced if required by one or more
of the following criteria:
• Do not use if the product is damaged.
• The user's general condition is an important part of
the risk assessment.
2.4 PRECAUTIONS
• People with self-harming behavior should not be
left alone with the product.
3. WARRANTY
There is a 12 months warranty on this product. The
warranty period begins on the date of purchase (shown on
the purchase receipt). During the warranty period, you can
submit any complaints about a defective VITILITY-product
to your dealer or to the service address specified. In this
period, we will repair all defects due to faulty materials
or operation free of charge. Improper handling, falls,
impacts and the like are excluded from the warranty. A new
warranty period does not start if the product is repaired
or exchanged; the 12 months warranty period as of the
purchase date continues unchanged.
Any warranty expires in the event of non-compliance such
as use other than as intended, repairs and alterations
made to the head protector or its components by unau-
thorised people.
4. SYMBOLS
The symbols and their explanations can be found on page
19.
5. SERIOUS INCIDENT REPORT
In the event of serious incidents related to the use of the
device should be reported to your local dealer and the
national competent authority in a timely manner. The local
dealer will forward the information to the manufacturer.
