Entsorgung
Die Ver packung umweltgerecht entsorgen und der Wert-
stoffsammlung zuführen.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU für Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE).
Das Produkt nicht als normalen Hausmüll, sondern umwelt-
gerecht über einen behördlich zugelassenen Entsorgungs-
betrieb entsorgen.
Der Akku ist vor der Entsorgung des Produktes zu entneh-
men und getrennt vom Produkt an entsprechenden Sam-
melstellen abzugeben.
Akku entnehmen
Die Solareinheit gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um diese von
der Halterung zu lösen, und abnehmen. Die Abdeckung abneh-
men. Die Rastnase des Akkufachdeckels zusammendrücken und
Akkufach deckel abnehmen. Danach den Akku entnehmen und
entsorgen.

Danger sign: This symbol indicates risk of physical in-
jury. Read the associated safety instructions carefully,
and comply with them.

Important Instructions
WARNING – Danger of Injury!

Danger of Suffocation! Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material.
■
The product is not a toy. Do not leave children and animals
unsupervised with the product, in order to avoid injuries!
■
Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries may be life
threatening if swallowed. Therefore, store the battery and
product out of reach of children and animals. If the battery has
been swallowed, you must seek immediate medical attention.
■
Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery leaks, avoid
physical contact with the battery acid. Wear protective gloves
if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected area
with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as
soon as possible.

The product is designed to decorate outdoor areas. The stor-
age battery charge during the daytime via the solar cell fi eld.
The accumulated energy allows the LEDs to illuminate at night.

The product is designed for personal domestic use only and
are not intended for commercial applications.

The product should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
■
Protect the product from naked fl ames and impact.
■
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids. It is only
resistant to splashing.

During extreme weather conditions (e. g. storm, hail) or if the
product will not be used for a long time, switch it off and store
it in a dry place.

Do not disassemble the product! Have any repairs done only
by a specialist workshop or the customer service department.
The LEDs cannot be replaced.

Storage batteries may not be disassembled, disposed of in fi re,
immersed in liquids or short circuited.
■
Keep the solar fi eld clean so that the greatest possible absorp-
tion of light is ensured. Wipe down the solar fi eld (and if nec-
essary also the remaining components of the product) with a
damp cloth. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the product! They could damage the sur-
faces.
