is damaged you should not use it (!), but instead contact our
customer service department.

Before initial use
Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any
labels that may be on the device and are used for protection during
transportation or for advertising.
Use
CAUTION!
The heater should only be used in wall sockets in a vertical
position, and not horizontally (lying).
The device is equipped with protection against overheating; the
device switches off if it gets too hot. In this case you turn the
ON/OFF switch to the 0 position. You then allow the device to
cool down and remove the plug from the socket. It will be ready
for use again after approx. 10 – 15 minutes.
1. Insert the mains plug into a properly in-
stalled socket that is easily accessible.
2. To switch the device on you turn the
ON / OFF switch (4) to the I position. The
display (6) shows "20" (for 20 °C).
3. You can set the required temperature (15 – 32 °C) to higher
with the + button (8) and to lower with the – button (7). The
selected temperature has been reached when the number in
the display (6) stops fl ashing.
4. With the speed regulator (5) you can set the speed of the fan
heater:
– HH - high speed
– LL - low speed

The device automatically stops heating as soon as the
preset temperature in the room has been reached. Once
the room cools down again the device begins heating
again automatically for as long as it is switched on.
5. To switch the device off you turn the ON/OFF switch (4) to the
0 position.
6. Allow the device to cool down and disconnect it from the mains.
Setting the Timer
You can set the operating time between 1 – 12 hours. The device
switches off automatically at the end of this time.
1. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed socket that is
easily accessible.
2. To switch the device on you turn the ON / OFF switch (4) to the
I position. The display (6) shows "20" (for 20 °C).
3. Press the timer button (9). "00" lights up on the display (6). You
can set the operating time for longer with the + button (8) or
shorter with the – button (7).
4. When the operating time is no longer visible on the display,
you can select the temperature and speed of the fan heater
(see above). After that the display switches between the preset
operating time and the temperature.
5. The device stops the heating process automatically after the
preset operating time has elapsed.
6. To switch the device off you turn the ON / OFF switch (4) to the
0 position.
7. Allow the device to cool down and disconnect it from the mains.
Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
Pull the mains plug out of the socket and allow the device to
cool down completely before doing any cleaning!
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning.
These can damage the surface.
If necessary, wipe down the device with a slightly damp cloth.
When not in use the device should be stored in a dry place
which is not accessible to children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are
able to rectify the problem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device
yourself!
The device does not work.
Is the mains plug inserted in the socket correctly?
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
Check the fuse of the mains connection.
