POWER
Press the POWER button to turn keyboard on.
VOLUME
Press the VOLUME buttons to adjust the volume.
TEMPO
Press the TEMPO buttons to adjust tempo on rhythms, programmed
rhythms, and demo songs.
RHYTHM SELECTION
Press one of the RHYTHM buttons (01-10) to select a play-along rhythm.
TONE SELECTION
Press one of the TONE buttons (01-10) to select a sound for the keys,
rhythms, or demo songs.
VIBRATO
Press the VIBRATO button to give the notes a pulsed sound. Press this
button again to switch off the VIBRATO function.
SUSTAIN
Press the SUSTAIN button to make the keys hold their sound longer. Press
this button again to switch off the SUSTAIN function.
DRUM SOUNDS
Press any of the DRUM SOUNDS buttons to add percussion to your playing.
DEMO SONGS
DEMO ONE
Press the DEMO ONE button to play the first demo song. Press the
button again to stop the demo song. Press the button again to play the
next demo song.
STOP
Press the STOP button to stop a demo song or rhythm.
DEMO ALL
Press the DEMO ALL button to play all of the demo songs in order.
NOTE ACCOMPANIMENT
Press a RHYTHM button. Press the NOTE button to enter accomp-
animent mode. Trigger accompaniment by playing a note with your left
hand on the keyboard (keys 1-11). The accompaniment will match the
notes played with your left hand and will change accordingly. Your right
hand is free to play melodies.
SYNC
The NOTE function can be used with SYNC to start the chord and
rhythm simultaneously. Press SYNC, then NOTE. When you press a
key in the accompaniment area (keys 1-11), the synched up chord and
rhythm will begin.
CHORD ACCOMPANIMENT
Press a RHYTHM button. Press the CHORD button to enter chord
accompaniment mode. The accompaniment will match the type of chords
that you play with your left hand (Major, Minor, 7th) and will change
accordingly. Your right hand is free to play melodies.
DRUM FILL
To add a drum fill to a rhythm, press the FILL button. A short drum fill
will be inserted into the pattern that is playing.
RECORD AND PLAYBACK
RECORD
To record your own melody, press the RECORD button. Record up to
54 notes.
REPLAY
To play back the melody, press the REPLAY button.
RHYTHM PROGRAM
DRUM PROGRAM
Press the DRUM PROGRAM button to enter rhythm program mode.
Press any of the 6 DRUM SOUNDS buttons. Program up to 16 notes.
DRUM PLAY
Press the DRUM PLAY button to play back the programmed rhythm.
