Gently lift the cover to check for browness. If the cover resists
lifting, allow the waffle to cook a little longer and then try again.
If you desire, a browner or crisper waffle, close the cover and
bake 1 to 2 minutes longer.

waffle from the waffle maker. Be sure to use only plastic, nylon
or wooden utensils, designed for use on non-stick surfaces. If
more waffles are desired, close the cover and wait for signal
light to go out before adding batter to the cooking surface.
Caution: Never leave the waffle maker plugged in without batter
on the cooking surfaces. When you have finished with the waffle
maker, be sure to unplug the unit. Allow to cool before cleaning.

Wipe the cooking surfaces with a clean, damp cloth or sponge.
For removing stubborn stains or food, use a nylon brush or other

Tasty Tips:
1. To get a lighter, crispier waffle, beat egg whites separately and
fold them into the batter. Don't over mix.
2. Bake waffles thoroughly. Most recipes call for a minimum of 3
minutes.

minute after baking starts before you open the unit.
