1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing this Garland machine. We
are confident that you will appreciate the quality and
performance of this machine, which will facilitate your
task for a long period of time. Remember that this
machine has the most extensive and expert technical
assistance network which you can consult for the
maintenance, troubleshooting and purchase of spare
parts or accessories.
Warning! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow all warnings
and instructions then can to result in fire and/
or serious injury. Before using this machine, carefully
read the information in this manual on setting up
correct and safe techniques.
Use this machine to vacuum wet and dry materials
at room temperatura. For example, do not use this
machine to vacuum ashes, petrol and corrosive
liquids. Do not use this machine for unintended
purposes. Never vacuum explosive liquids,
combustible gases, explosive dusts or undiluted acids
and solvents! Substances to avoid also include petrol,
paint thinner and fuel oil which could form explosive
fumes or mixtures by being in turbulence with the air
under suction. In addition, the list includes acetone,
undiluted acids and solvents as well as aluminum and
magnesium dusts. These substances can also attack
the materials used in the unit.
Do not draw in burning or glowing objects.
Do not direct the unit at people or animals.
The use of this machine for operations other than
those expected may result in dangerous situations.
To avoid mishandling of this machine, read all
instructions in this manual before using for the first
time. The information contained in this manual is
important for your personal safety and that of the
