Do not place the device in walkways. Make sure that the device does
not become a tripping hazard for other people.
∙
Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity (e.g. sanitary rooms,
damp basements) or in living rooms and rooms in which persons are
present.
∙
Place the device in dry places protected from water. When used directly
on the floor, the device should not be placed in floor depressions to
protect it from water accumulation.
∙
Outdoors, the device should be approx. 15 cm above the ground. This
enables an ideal detection range and good sound emission.
∙
For best effect, place the device so that it points in the direction from
which the animals are coming.
∙
For best results, make sure that the device is not covered by other
objects. These would reflect or absorb the sound waves.

COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION
The VOSS.sonic 1200 can be operated with three 1.5 V AA batteries.

INSERTING BATTERIES
DANGER
Small parts that can be swallowed. Keep children away
while inserting the batteries.
CAUTION

Use only batteries of the same type. When replacing dead
batteries, remove all old batteries and replace them with
new ones. Do not mix old batteries with new batteries.

Battery acid burns. Wear protective gloves when
removing leaking batteries from the device. Then clean
the contacts on the device with a soft cloth.

Make sure that the on/off switch (4) is in the "O" position.
2.
To insert the batteries, remove the four
screws on the back of the device with a
screwdriver (size PH1) and remove the
battery cover (see fig.).
3.
Insert the batteries into the device
according to the polarity.
