Note:
The DIP switch No. 1 to 3 are suitable for setting the RS-485 communication address. No. 4 is for Wiegand mode (OFF: Wiegand
input, ON: Wiegand output).
4.2
Install the door module
1. Drill holes on the wall or other places according to the mounting template.
Note
The minimum bearing weight of the wall or other places should be three times heavier than the device weight.
2. Connect all cables as shown on the standard wiring schematic on page 3.
Connect an external 12VDC power supply to A1 (red) and A2 (black).
Connect the EDS101S or EDS101B video intercom RS-485 + and - connection with the secure module B1 (Yellow) and B2 (Blue).
Connect the electrical video doorlock with the secure module:
D13 (White/Yellow) and D14 (White/Red) for Normal open connection
D13 (White/Yellow) and D12 (White/Purple) for Normal close connection
Connect a power supply source on the electrical doorlock. (the secure module is only a relay connection)
3. Activate the 12V power supply and verify if the POWER LED indicator on the secure module is illuminated.
4. Make sure the outdoor video intercom (EDS101S or EDS101B) is installed and working perfectly. Test the Guarding vision
application on your smartphone and make sure you can receive calls when pressing the push button.
IMPORTANT: Disconnect and reconnect the POE network interface of the outdoor video intercom (EDS101S or EDS101B), then
wait for it to boot up.
