Battery safety precautions
Only charge this device using the built-in solar panel. With a battery DC
3.7V
5200mAh. This device must be charged for at least 8 hours
every 2 months to avoid damaging its batteries. Its efficiency may
decrease if the device is used (or recharged) at a temperature below
10°C or above 40°C. This device contains batteries that cannot be
replaced. The device must be disconnected from the power supply and
set to OFF when removing its batteries. Batteries must be disposed of
safely in accordance with local regulations. Batteries must be removed
from the device before it is discarded. Used or defective batteries are
considered special waste and must be treated and recycled accordingly.
Comply with local regulations regarding the disposal of batteries.
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Batteries may only be
drained of their electrolyte (diluted sulfuric acid) by professionals. This
process should only be carried out by companies approved for recycling.
When disposing of batteries, isolate the (+) and (-) with insulating tape or
any other type of non-conductive adhesive. If disposed of incorrectly,
batteries may short-circuit, heat up, burst or catch fire. Harmful if in
contact with skin. Harmful if swallowed. Causes burns. Risk of serious
eye damage. May cause sensitization by inhalation and skin contact.
Keep out of reach of children. In the event of an incident, seek medical
advice immediately. Wear suitable protective clothing. Wear suitable
gloves. If inhaled, do not remain exposed. In case of contact with skin,
rinse thoroughly with water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse
immediately with plenty of water. If swallowed, wash your mouth
thoroughly with water. All cases of eye contamination, persistent skin
irritation and victims who have swallowed substances or are affected by
the inhalation of vapours should seek medical advice. Do not short-
circuit, recharge, puncture, incinerate, crush, immerse, fully discharge or
expose to temperatures above the normal operating temperature range.
Risk of fire or explosion. Do not smoke near or use an open flame. Do
not throw into a fire, even if the battery is seriously damaged or
completely worn out, risk of bursting and explosion. Do not touch the
terminals with a conductive object. Do not store/keep in a conductive
container (metal for example) and/or with metal objects. Do not expose
