itself. Even if such damage is not visible, the
helmet should be discarded and replaced if a
fall has occurred in which the child has fallen on
the helmet. However, minor superficial abrasions
caused merely by normal wear and tear are
harmless and do not reduce the protective effect
of the helmet.
Check the helmet for damage and
cracks before each use. Damaged
helmets must be disposed of and
replaced to avoid the risk of serious head injuries
in the event of a fall.
NO USE ON MOTOR VEHICLES
This helmet is designed to protect
impact caused by collision of head
with an obstacle while doing cycling,
skating or scootering.
The helmet is not approved for use by children on
motor vehicles, therefore it must not be used on
mopeds, motorbikes, electric scooters or other
motorised vehicles.
Damage due to heat exposure
Helmets will be damaged if exposed to tem-
peratures above 50° C. If the helmet is stored
in parked cars exposed to the sun on very hot
days, this temperature can quickly be exceeded.
Heat-damaged helmets get uneven spots or throw
blisters. These helmets no longer provide safe
protection and should be disposed of immedia-
tely. Also keep the helmet away from pointed/
sharp objects as well as salt water, solvents,
adhesives and corrosive agents that can damage
the surface.
Service life
This helmet (in undamaged condition) has a
useful life of 5 years and must not be used after
this useful life has expired.
Care
Clean the helmet only with mild soap and water.
Use a cloth for cleaning. Do not immerse the
helmet in water. The use of solvents, paints or
decals may damage the helmet and reduce its
protective effect.
