CONTENTS
Before playing, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries (not included) in the doll. Here's how:

1. Open the velcro on the back of the doll to expose the battery compartment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• The included accessories are only suitable for the doll.
• Read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Only use included accessories with the doll, as other accessories may not be
compatible with BABYt born Learn To Walk™ doll.
• Always turn the doll OFF after use to preserve battery life.
• If storing for an extended amount of time, remove the batteries to prevent
battery damage or damage to the unit.
• Keep moisture of any kind away from the doll and battery compartment. If water
enters the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
• Clicking of the doll's joints is function-related and is not a defect.

• If the set function doesn't work, the joints need to be readjusted as the
internal contacts may not have been properly engaged.
• Check item regularly for damage and replace if necessary.
• Keep damaged item out of reach of children.
ARM AND LEG MOVEMENTS
Joints
• Your Learn To Walk™ doll has wrists and joints that
can be adjusted to support crawling and walking.
• The joints will also produce a clicking sound when
adjusted. This is not a defect.
LEARN TO WALK
Sitting and kicking
• Your doll will sit and kick her legs and arms.
1. Adjust your doll into a seated position.
2. Tilt her slightly backward and wait until she starts to kick her legs.
• She moves her arms while kicking and makes sounds.
• When she stops you can press on her belly to make her laugh and
kick again.
Crawling
• Your doll will learn to crawl when placed in the crawling position.
• Oops! If your doll falls:
1. Adjust your dolls legs and arms into the crawling position.
1. After a moment she will get back up and continue crawling.
2. Adjust her head upwards.
2. If she cries, soothe her by referencing the "Soothing" section.
3. Place her on the oor and wait for her to begin crawling.
Walking
• With some guidence your doll will take her rst steps when
placed into the walking position:
1. Keeping your doll standing, adjust her arms above her.
2. Hold on to her hands and wait until she starts walking.
• Let go of her hands and she falls down and begins to cry.
Soothe her by pressing the button on her back.
• Walk with her 10 steps. Then, she goes into stand-by
mode. You can play again by pressing her belly or back.

• Your Learn To Walk™ doll may cry from time to time and when
ADULT BATTERY INSTALLATION REQUIRED
she falls. Soothe her by
• Pressing on her belly. (Fig. 1)
• Pressing the button on her back. (Fig. 2.)
Tickling and laughing
• When your baby is sitting up, press on her belly (Fig. 1) or
back (Fig. 2) and she will laugh.
Rock her to sleep
1. Hold her in a horizontal position and she begins to yawn.
2. Begin rocking her in this position and she will fall asleep.
Wake her up
• Wake your doll up before 2 minutes by holding her in an upright
position.
• After 2 minutes of inactivity, your doll will go into stand-by mode.
Wake her up by:

Cleaning Information
• Clean head, arms, legs, body, out t and headband with a damp
cloth (not included).
• Hand wash doll's out t, if necessary.
• Do not bathe the doll or wash her in the washing machine.
• Do not submerge doll in water.

Turn the power switch to the ON position.

• Use only size "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries (3 required).
• Batteries should be replaced only by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity ( + and – ).
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• When not used for an extended time, remove batteries to prevent
possible leakage and damage to the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND HELPFUL HINTS
1. Readjust the joints in the preferred position. It's possible
the internal contacts may not have been properly
engaged.
Doll does not react as described.
2. Check that batteries are in the unit and inserted correctly
according to the diagram inside the battery
compartment. Insert fresh batteries if problems persist.
Turn OFF the doll. Remove the batteries, reinsert them, and

SAFE BATTERY USAGE
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.

Articulations

APPRENDRE À MARCHER
Position assise et gigotements
Votre poupée s'assiéra et bougera les bras et les jambes.
1. Ajustez votre poupée en position assise.
2. Inclinez-la légèrement vers l'arrière et attendez qu'elle
commence à bouger les jambes.
Elle bouge les bras tout en gigotant et elle émet des sons.
Lorsqu'elle s'arrêtera, vous pourrez appuyer sur son ventre
pour la faire rire et gigoter à nouveau.
Rampement
Votre poupée apprendra à ramper lorsque vous la placerez en position de rampement.
1. Ajustez les jambes et les bras de votre poupée en position de rampement.
2. Relevez sa tête.
3. Placez-la au sol et attendez qu'elle commence à ramper.
Marche
Avec un peu d'aide, votre poupée fera ses premiers pas
lorsqu'elle sera en position de marche :
1. En gardant votre poupée debout, relevez ses bras.
2. Tenez ses mains et attendez qu'elle commence à marcher.
• Si vous lâchez ses mains, elle tombe et commence à
pleurer.
Consolez-la en appuyant sur le bouton situé dans son dos.
• Faites 10 pas avec elle. Ensuite, elle se met en mode veille.
Vous pouvez jouer à nouveau en appuyant sur son ventre
ou son dos.
