PURPOSE
The ankle brace is designed for people whose ankle joint is weakened. Thanks to the cross straps, it is possible
to adjust the range of fl exion and extension movement of the foot. The brace is designed to prevent injuries
to the joint in the post-traumatic period and to help stabilise the ankle joint. The brace is equipped with
elastic inserts which help stabilise the ankle joint during lateral and torsional movements.
APPLICATIONS:
- Serves as a preventative measure to protect against injury and trauma.
- The brace with a system of reinforcements is suitable during rehabilitation, after sprains of the joint or after
twisting the ankle, or immediately after removing the plaster cast.
- For active athletes when resuming training after a break caused by an injury or as a preventative measure to
protect the joint from overload injuries.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Physical or mental limitations (e.g. visual impairment) that prevent safe handling.
RULES OF USE
1. It is recommended that the indications and rules of using the orthosis are advised by a physician.
2. The method of putting on the orthosis should be demonstrated by qualifi ed personnel, medically
authorized to do so, in the presence of the person who takes care of the user (if applicable).
3. The brace is a Class I medical device intended for one person, therefore it cannot be rented to other users,
even for a short period of time.
4. Use the product and its components only as intended.
5. The orthosis should be kept clean in accordance with the instructions given by the Manufacturer in this
manual and on the label placed on the product. Improper cleaning and maintenance of the product (e.g. too
rare washing, insuffi ciently thorough rinsing) may lead to skin disorders.
6. The skin in the place where the orthosis adheres to the body should be clean - while wearing the brace,
do not apply therapeutic compresses made of ointments and creams, do not apply them just before putting
the brace on.
7. Continuous use of the orthosis for a long period of time may result in muscle atrophy, therefore it is
recommended to systematically perform exercises selected by qualifi ed medical personnel under the
supervision of the physician.
8. The wearing time of the orthosis should be determined by a specialist.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. The manufacturer recommends washing the product periodically
2. Close all velcro straps of the orthosis before washing
3. Remove metal parts before washing
4. Hand wash in lukewarm water with soap or neutral, anti-allergic detergent only, up to 40°
5. Rinse with lukewarm water. Do not use fabric softeners for the last rinse.
6. Do not wring out - remove excess water by hand pressure or in a towel
7. Do not bleach
8. Do not tumble dry
9. Dry the orthosis fl at in a shaded and airy place - do not expose the orthosis to direct sunlight; do not use
external heat sources for drying indoors
10. Do not iron
11. Do not dry clean
12. Do not use professional water cleaning (service laundries)
STORAGE
Store the washed and completely dried product folded, in a ventilated place without direct sunlight. Do not
store in humid places or near artifi cial sources of heat. Store at room temperature.
