2. Installing the Hardware
Assembly
1. Switch off your PC and disconnect the power supply. Before assembly, ensure that you are not
electro statically charged. Otherwise, the card or system may be damaged. Only remove the card
from the anti-static holder immediately before installation.
2. Open the computer housing and attach the card into a free PCIe slot. Fasten the card in place
using the screw. See your PC operating manual for more details.
3. Install the additional bracket on a free slot and connect the cable to the card.
4. Close the housing and reconnect the power supply. Switch on the computer and wait until the
operating system has started.
