2. Insert a 3 V button cell
(CR2032H) into the battery com-
partment. The positive pole must
be facing upwards.
3. Put the battery compartment
cover back on and use the coin
to close it (twist it clockwise). You
must feel the battery compart-
ment cover engage.
If the heart rate monitor stops work-
ing, the battery needs to be replaced.
Putting On the Chest
Strap
1. Moisten the conductive pads on
the back of the chest strap with
water or conductive gel.
2. Place the chest strap around your
upper body. It should fi t directly
below your chest muscles.
3. Pull the chest strap tight and slide
the loop over the locking hook. It
must fi t securely, but not cut into
you.
The chest strap can be adjusted to
a circumference of from 52 – 70 cm.
The additional extension makes it
possible to extend the chest strap up
to a circumference of 90 cm.
