IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
This appliance must be used on the electric voltage shown on the rating plate on the base of this appliance, failure to use the
correct voltage will render the guarantee VOID.
This appliance is intended for domestic use only, any other use may invalidate the warranty and might be
dangerous.
This appliance is intended for indoor use only, do not use outdoors.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs at all times.
To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not attempt to dislodge deposits when the kettle is in operation, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool to room
temperature.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning the appliance.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. Consult the retail store where you bought the appliance for advice.
Do not insert metallic objects such as Knives, Forks, Spoons ETC as they can get hot or cause electric shock.
Do not let cord hang over edge of the surface, or touch hot surfaces.
Do not place appliance on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance.
Do not immerse the product, it's base or cord in water for cleaning.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over the cord.
This appliance must be EARTHED. This appliance must be disconnected from the mains when not in use. Do not allow
appliance to be exposed to rain or moisture.
1. BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Using your new kettle is very simple. Nevertheless, for your own safety and to get best result, it is important that you read
through this handbook before using your kettle for the first time.
1.1 Ensure the mains voltage complies with the specifications on the rating plate on the underside of the appliance if it
does not, Don't use the kettle.
1.2 Make sure that children can not reach the cable or kettle. Also ensure that the cable does not hang over the edge of the
work surface.
