• Only place the appliance on flat and stable surfaces and not
near hot plates, gas flames or other sources of heat.
• Do not touch the appliance when your hands are wet or moist.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Do not
clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
• Never use the appliance if you discover damage, if water has
penetrated the housing or if the appliance has been dropped.
• Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the
event of a malfunction, have the appliance repaired by qualified
experts only! Contact your authorized dealer whenever the
appliance is in need of repairs.
• Use original accessories only.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Start by carefully reading the instructions for use and the safety
instructions.
• Remove all packaging material.
• Wipe the weighing surface with a soft cloth, slightly moistened
if necessary. Afterwards dry it off carefully.
• Attention: Do not use any caustic liquids or abrasive cleaning
agents.
• Open the battery housing on the reverse side of the appliance
and remove the interruption stripe. The scale is now ready for
use.
