❐ Maintain a suffi cient distance from heat sources such as hobs or ovens in order not
to damage the device.
❐ Never operate the device on a hob or in the vicinity of a gas source.
❐ Fruit may only be chopped up if the core / pips have been removed!
❐ With hard foodstuffs, e.g. raw vegetables, or very large quantities of food, do not use
the device for longer than 1 minute without stopping. Then let the device cool down
for four minutes before you use it again.
❐ Do not leave the device switched on when it is unattended.
❐ Pull the plug out of the socket
– when the device is not in use,
– if a fault occurs while the device is in operation,
– before a thunderstorm,
– before you change accessories,
– before you remove any pieces of food (e.g. if there are blockages),
– before you clean the device.
❐ When you want to remove the plug from the socket, always pull the plug and not the
cable.
❐ When cleaning, make sure that no water or other liquid can get into the motor unit,
the adapter or the lid of the mixing container.
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning it.
❐ The device is not dishwasher-safe!
