INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR BALANCE BIKE BUGSY
Please, read the instructions carefully before first use. To ensure safe use of the toy, all instructions and
recommendations given in the manual should be strictly followed. Keep the instruction manual for future
reference!
INTENDED USAGE
The balance bike is intended for use by children aged from 18 till 36 months of age, weighted up to 20 kg. The product is
designed for play and home use. It is intended for use by one child only. The child who will use the balance bike must be able
to stand steady on their feet and move on their own.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS

WARNING! To be used under the direct supervision of an adult.
WARNING! This toy has no brakes! The speed of the bicycle shouldn't exceed that of a normal human pace.

WARNING! Protective equipment should be worn. Make sure your child always wears a suitable protective clothing
and a helmet when riding a bike. Make sure the helmet is properly fitted according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Make sure your child wears sturdy, non-slip shoes, covering his toes, because of danger of feet injury while riding the
bicycle.
WARNING! Not to be used in traffic.

WARNING! Use the bicycle only for its intended purpose. If a child uses the toy in a manner other than its intended

use, there is a risk of damage that could lead to serious injury. Do not use to carry loads. Not to be used by more than
one child at a time. Maximum admissible weight: 20 kg.

WARNING! The balance bike has been designed to be ridden by young children on flat and smooth surfaces. To be
used only in well-lit and safe playgrounds and secure areas. Do not use on wet or slippery surfaces. Never allow child
to ride near pools and stairs.

WARNING! The packaging of this toy contains small parts that can cause choking or suffocation if swallowed. To be
unpacked and assembled away from children.
•
WARNING! Keep away from fire.
WARNING! The product needs to be used with caution, since skill is required to avoid falls or collisions causing injury

to the user or third parties. Before the first use teach your child how correctly to ride the bike. Make sure the child
understands how the bike works and can use it correctly and safely in a safe and supervised environment.

Do not allow the child, riding the bicycle or other children in proximity, to touch the wheels with hands or other
objects, when in motion. Avoid riding the balance bike in close proximity to other little children, and in the vicinity of
children riding bicycles, roller skates, scooters and other similar rolling equipment, due to the possibility of collision or
injuries.
To avoid risk of choking, make sure your child cannot loosen and detach the tire valve cap. Otherwise, it should be

removed completely.

Ensure that the handlebar angle limiter is always securely connected to its attachment, where applicable.
•
Do not place or tie any objects or other accessories and strings to the toy. This may cause hooking, entanglement, and
loss of balance, resulting in injury to the child.
If the toy is dropped or bumped, carefully inspect the bike and its components for possible malfunctions before the

child uses it again.
INSTRUCTION FOR ASSEMBLING
Before being used by a child, the balance bike must be assembled by an adult who has previously read the assembly
instructions. Do not make any alterations and modifications on the design of the product!
TO ASSEMBLE THE BALANCE BIKE, FOLLOW THE SEQUENCE OF STEPS SHOWN IN THE IMAGES IN SECTION A (IMAGES 1 TO 5).
After unpacking, make sure that all elements of illustration PD are available.
1. STEP 1 - FIGURE 1: Remove the bolts and nuts from the handlebar.
2. STEP 2 - FIGURE 2:
Insert the front wheel set into the bike body, as shown in Figure 2.
3. STEP 3 - FIGURE 3: Insert the handlebar into the front wheel well opening. IMPORTANT! The curved shape port of the
handlebar must be positioned in the direction shown in Figure 3. Install the protective cover on the handlebar as shown in
Figure 3.
ATTENTION! Improper mounting of the handlebar will affect the stability of the structure and may cause the front wheel
compartment to separate from the bicycle body while riding, causing serious injury.
4. STEP 4 - FIGURE 4: After the hole position is aligned, put the bolt through the fixing hole. Lock the nut tightly using the Allen
key.
5. STEP 5 – FIGURE 5: Push the protective cover downward to cover the bolt. Turn clockwise until locked into position, as
shown in Figure 5.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before each use, make sure that:
•
The wheels are tightened at the axles and rotate well.
•
The hand grips are not torn at their ends.
All the bolts and other components are well fixed and show no signs of abnormal wear.
