Disposal
This appliance is labelled in accordance with
European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
This Directive requires the separate collection of
WEEE, including for component recycling. EEE
labelled with the WEEE symbol must be handed
in at a local authority designated collection
facility. EEE contains materials, components and
substances that may pose a human health or
ecological hazard if not properly disposed of.
Products labelled with the crossed-out wheelie
bin symbol shown below are EEE. The crossed-
out wheelie bin symbol indicates that WEEE
must not be discarded as unsorted household
waste, but must be sent to separate collection
facilities. For this purpose, local authorities have
established collection schemes whereby WEEE
can be delivered free of charge by the public to
recycling facilities or other collection points – or
kerbside collected from households.
Please consult your local waste collection
authority for more information.
Users of EEE must not dispose of WEEE as
household waste. Users must make use of the
local authority designated collection facilities,
in order to reduce the environmental impact of
WEEE disposal and increase the opportunities for
WEEE recycling, reuse and recirculation.
