4.1.1.
Batteries
CAUTION
Leaking electrolyte
Eyes and skin irritation can occur due to leaking, poisonous and corrosive electro-
lytes.
▶ Avoid contact with your eyes and body.
▶ In the event of contact, rinse out the affected area immediately with plenty of
water and consult a doctor.

INTENDED USE
Battery-powered LED pen torch with pocket clip and continuously focusable spot-
light.
For both industrial and private use.
Dust-proof and splash-proof to IP 54.
4.3.
IMPROPER USE
Not suitable for use by children.
Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
To change the battery open the casing only at the specified place. Otherwise do
not open the casing.
Do not expose the torch to intense heat, direct sunlight, naked flames or direct
contact with water.
If the torch suffers a heavy impact or collision, do not continue to use it.
Do not replace the light bulb.
Do not recharge the supplied batteries.

Commissioning
5.1.
INSERTING OR REPLACING BATTERIES
ü Never shine the torch directly in someone's eyes.
1. Twist the battery cover anti-clockwise to unscrew it.
2. Remove the used batteries.
▶ Always remove and replace all of the batteries.
3. Insert two AAA/LR03 batteries.
▶ Insert the batteries into the torch so that the plus poles point in the direction
of the spotlight.
4. Replace the battery cover and screw it clockwise to close it.
▶ The torch is now ready to use.

Operation

WARNING
Risk of blinding and injury to the retina
▶ Never look directly into the light beam.
▶ Do not direct light beam at animals' or people's eyes.
▶ In the event of commercial use, the user must be instructed according to the ac-
cident prevention regulations.
6.1.
TURNING THE SPOTLIGHT ON AND OFF
1. Press the on/off button in order to switch on the spotlight.
2. Press the on/off button in order to switch off the spotlight.
6.2.
ADJUSTING THE FOCUS
1. Hold the middle of the torch in one hand.
2. Using the other hand, slide the torch head backwards or forwards.
▶ Adjust the focus continuously.
6.3.
ATTACHING THE TORCH
Attach the torch to your clothing using the pocket clip.
7.
Storage
Remove batteries from the lamp before storing.
8.
Cleaning
Remove the batteries from the torch before cleaning it. Remove any dirt with a dry
cloth.
Do not use any chemical, alcohol or solvent-based cleaning agents.

10. Recycling and disposal
Torch and batteries must not be disposed of in domestic waste. Comply
