SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WARNING: When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to
persons, including the following:
1.
Read all instructions.
2.
Do NOT touch hot surfaces of the tray, warming pans or the warming pans frame. Use the cool-
touch handles and oven mitts or potholders.
3.
To protect against electrical shock do NOT immerse the warming tray or its power cord in water
or any other liquid.
4.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5.
Unplug the warming tray from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6.
Do NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Chefman® Customer Support for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
7.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Chefman® may cause injuries.
8.
Do NOT use outdoors.
9.
Do NOT let the power cord hang over the edge of a countertop or table, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
