12. Place the product on a flat, stable surface.
13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing
is required in the following situations:
14. The apparatus has been damaged in any way.
15. Liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus.
16. The apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does
not operate normally, or has been dropped.
17. Remove all batteries from the device at the same time and
replace them with new batteries of the same size and type.
18. If battery acid has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes. Rinse affected areas immediately
after contact with the acid and wash with plenty of clean
water. Visit a physician.
19. Do not dismantle, open or shred the battery.
20. Do not dispose of a battery in a fire or a hot oven, or
mechanically crush or cut a battery, which can result in an
explosion.
21. Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature
surrounding environment can result in an explosion or the
leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
22. A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result
in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
23. Insert the batteries properly. Follow the symbols showing
the correct way to position the positive (+) and negative (-)
ends of the batteries.

Batteries must not be disposed of with normal
household waste. Recycle them at the collection
points provided for this purpose. Contact the local
authorities or your dealer for recycling advice. Correct
disposal of old batteries helps protect the environment and
human health.
