Please read these instructions carefully before using your new halogen heater and keep in mind the
following points:
•
Unpack the patio heater and ensure that all parts are present and that there are no parts left in
the box and that the head of the heater is free of packaging material.
•
Use the detailed drawing and follow the steps to assemble the heater.
•
Do not connect the heater to the mains before the entire assembly is complete.
•
Do not connect the heater to the mains if any of the parts or the power cord is damaged.
•
If in doubt, contact your supplier.
•
This heater is not equipped with a device to regulate the room temperature. Do not use this
heater in small rooms when occupied by persons unable to leave the room unaided unless there is
constant supervision.
•
Children under 3 years of age should be kept away unless there is constant supervision.
•
Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Take particular care where
children and vulnerable persons are present.
•
Use the heater only in a solid horizontal position where all feet on the base are in contact with the
floor. (If the heater tilts or falls over, the automatic shut-off switch will be activated).
•
Do not push objects through the grille of the heater and make sure the grille is not blocked or
covered.
•
Place the heater outside or in a large open space and well away from obstacles such as branches
or where the heater is near objects that may be affected by heat, such as furniture, curtains or
other flammable objects (minimum distance 1 metre).
•
Suggest following the standard statement: The heating element must not be located directly
under a wall socket.
•
Do not move the patio heater when connected to a wall socket and always wait for the patio
heater to cool down before storing it.
•
Do not touch the heater when it is in use.
•
The indication of the different positions of the switches must be visible from a distance of 1 m.
•
The appliance must be positioned with a clearance of 250 mm from the wall.
•
Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
•
Handle the appliance with care and avoid vibrations or impacts.
•
The appliance is intended for domestic use only. It is not safe for use on a construction site,
greenhouse, barn or stable where combustible dust is present.
•
The head of the appliance has a high temperature during use. Unplug the appliance and wait for it
to cool down before cleaning.
•
Do not use this appliance in places where corrosive or volatile air is present, i.e. dust, steam, gas,
etc.
•
Do not use this appliance as a cloth dryer or towel dryer.
•
Do not use this device for propagating and raising animals.
•
Do not immerse this device in water for cleaning.
