Work on a stable, flat, clean surface that en-
sures the appliance does not slip.
+ Before using the appliance for the first time,
wash and dry all its parts, except for the main
body, as explained in the section "Cleaning
and Conservation".
1 Place the pulp compartment (5) in the main
body (1) aligning the juice outlet (4) with the
opening in the main body.
2 Put the filter (6) in position by pressing it down
and turning it until it fits into the motor axle.
3 Put on the lid (7) and turn it until it fits properly.
4 Place plunger (8) in position.
5 Insert the safety lock (3) in the lid and close it (fig. 2).
Check that all the preceding items are set in
place securely.
UsE
+ This appliance has been designed to extract
juice from fruit and vegetables, except for
those containing little juice. After using the
appliance for more than four minutes without
stopping, let it cool to room temperature to
prevent it from overheating. Four minutes is
the maximum time for which the appliance
can operate without stopping.
Never insert wooden, plastic, glass, metal or
similar objects in the mouth, only the plunger.
Do not use the liquidizer if the filter is dama-
ged. Do not use the appliance if you observe
any cracks or damage to any part of it.
1 Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
2 Assemble the appliance as explained in the
section "Assembly". Check it is properly as-
sembled.
3 Prepare the fruit, bearing in mind the instruc-
tions in the section "Hints on using"
4 Check the switch is set to "0" and plug the
cord into the mains.
5 Place a container at the juice outlet (4) and
turn the switch (2) to the desired position:
6 Insert the fruit and vegetables you want to li-
quidize into the inlet mouth (7) and press them
down with the plunger (8).
+ Insert the fruit and vegetable when the motor is on.
Do not exert too much pressure on the pusher
as it could affect the quality of the end result.
It could even cause the filter come to a halt.
Once finished, leave the motor to run a few
seconds so that the juice can be strained.
