Floor Strap
Calibration
Tents come pre-calibrated but stretch over time so will
need you to tighten the underfloor strap, using the
buckle every so often. Here is how to do this.
When the tent is up the centre (underfloor) strap
should provide a clear delineation between
both hammock berths. To increase this tension
(and therefore the separation between the two
hammocks), simply tighten or loosen the adjuster
buckle strap on the underside of the tent.
This re-tensioning must take place every so often as
the materials stretch to full size over time.
If you are using the base alone, you can leave this
strap completely slack and have the whole floor as a
large single hammock berth to yourself.
