Note: If the error cause is eliminated while error codes E1 or E2 are being displayed, the appliance
will automatically resume operation subject to the previous setting. With regard to all other error

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Switch off the appliance and pull the mains plug. Remove any coarse residues with a special
glass scraper, which is available with specialised dealers and household equipment shops.
Thereafter, clean the cold glass surface with soapy water and wipe dry with a clean cloth or
kitchen tissue.
Cleaning agents suitable for glass cooktops are available on the market. Use a kitchen tissue to
treat the whole glass surface with the lotion by rubbing in as long as there is no soiling visible
anymore. Special cleaning agents to treat the synthetic casing are also available on the market
as required.
Never immerse the appliance in water and do not use steam jet appliances. Make sure no water
or steam can infiltrate the appliance from below. Never use abrasives, steel wool or sharp,
scratchy objects.
