prepared under supervision.
• Attention! Hazard of fire! Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity
of or below curtains, wall cupboards or other combustible materials.
• Attention! Hazard of burns! Very hot cooking vessels may leave a
high residual heat on the glass ceramic plate for some time after
use.
Thus, act with caution:
• We recommend using pot cloths and suitable cooking utensils for
protection.
• Only use pots or pans suitable for induction cooking, i. e. cookware
made of ferromagnetic material. Always keep the cooking surface and
the pot bottom clean and dry.
• Do not use cookware protruding over the cooking surface. The heat of
the pot may damage the plastic casing. Only use pots and pans with
a maximum diameter of 23 cm and place them in the middle of the
marked cooking zone.
• Do not store any objects on top of the appliance, do not use it as
a worktop. Do not leave any food in aluminium foil on the cooking
surface, nor cutlery, pot lids or other objects made of metal, as those
may become hot.
• Never use oven sprays or stain-removers for cleaning! Special cleaning
agents for the glass plate are available with your local dealer.
• Avoid scratches on the glass plate caused by pointed or sharp objects.
Protect the glass plate against breakage by falling objects.
• Any damages resulting from non-observance of these notes will not be
covered by warranty.
• Observe the following when setting up the appliance:
Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and even non-

metallic surface (no varnished surfaces, no table cloths etc.).
Place it beyond children's reach.

Leave a ventilation distance of at least 10 cm to all sides and 1 m

above the appliance to avoid damage by heat or fat splatters and
to grant an unobstructed work area. Unhindered air supply has to
be ensured.
