RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
– Disconnect from mains power supply if
the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, since
the proximity of water poses a danger,
even if the hairdryer is switched off.
To avoid injury, care must be taken
that:
– Never block the blower or air intake
opening (end cap with hair filter). Ensure
that the air intake opening is always free
of hair and fluff.
– Fire hazard! Please note that a blocked air
intake opening will cause the hairdryer to
switch off automatically.
– Keep jewellery, such as a necklace, away
from the air intake opening, so that it
cannot be sucked in by the device!
– Do not twist, pull, bend or wind the cable
around the device. This can lead to early
signs of wear.
– If the cable is twisted, untwist it before
using.
– Regularly check the device and, above all,
the cable for defects and porous points.
Take special care to check the power cable
and the power plug.
Use only when the device and the
cable do not show any damage.
Under no circumstances should you
use a faulty device.
– Never try to repair a faulty device
yourself!
– If the device or the cable is damaged or
faulty, this must be replaced by OLYMP
Customer Service or by an authorised
specialist, in order to avoid the risk of
injury.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNING!
Air outlet and attachments can get very
hot. Do not touch during operation. Let
styling nozzle or diffuser cool down before
removing.
FIRE HAZARD due to high temperatures! Do
not use on artificial hair!
– Caution! Do not hold the air outlet too
close to your hair – depending on the heat
setting – to avoid damaging your hair.
– Do not use for artificial hair, only for
human hair!
– Fire hazard due to high temperatures!
– Note: Only use with towel-dry hair
In order to assure faultless
operation, care must be taken that:
– Use the device only according to the
information given on the rating plate.
– Do not subject the hairdryer to
temperatures below -10°C or above +40°C.
– Clean the device thoroughly after every
use (see chapter "Cleaning, Servicing,
Storage").
– This device may be used by children above
the age of 8 years as well as by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or insufficient experience or
knowledge, if they are supervised or have
be instructed in the safe use of the device
and understood the resulting dangers.
– Only use accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
START-UP
Before initial use, let the device run
for about 3 – 5 minutes. Due to the
manufacturing process, a slight odour may
be noticed. This is harmless and only occurs
when used for the first time.
