Switch between two types of cooling equipment (intake/
exhaust fan versus water cooler or A/C).
How does it work? Hea ng thermostat (2) -example TP1
set to hea ng – is sensing outside air and setpoint is set to
50°F. This thermostat supplies power to the OSW (3) sense
cord, in order to switch between A/C or fan according to
outside temperature. When outside air is cool (below 50°F
in this example), fan (5) is used instead of A/C (6), to save
energy cost. When outside temperature is too warm to
cool down the garden (above 50°F), A/C (6) is used instead
of fan (5). A/C or fan are controlled alternately by the
same cooling thermostat (1) - TP1 set to cooling.
