Maintaining and cleaning the appliance

Before changing the dust bag, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the mains
socket.

Change the dust bag when the dust bag change indicator appears in the inspection glass, the
vacuuming performance declines notably, before long storage or before shipping.
–
The dust bag and its contents can be disposed of in normal household garbage unless it con-
tains dirt that is forbidden in the household garbage.

Cleaning or replacing the filter

Before changing or cleaning the filter, switch the appliance off and disconnect the plug from the
mains socket.

The motor filter can be washed, however it cannot be washed in the dishwasher or washing ma-
chine.

Rinse the motor filter out thoroughly under running water ( illustrated Quick Start Guide, detail
).
Let the motor filter dry for approx. 24 hours at room temperature after cleaning.
Only insert the motor filter when it is completely dry.

To clean the exhaust filter, first knock the dust out of it then brush with a soft brush.

Cleaning

Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the mains socket.

The housing and power cable may not be handled with liquids or immersed in liquids for reasons
of electrical safety. Rub housing with a slightly damp cloth and then dry.

For cleaning, do not use any sharp or scouring cleansers or hard brushes.
