11. Troubleshooting
Before you undertake measures to eliminate faults, make sure that the device is switched off, the mains
plug is out of the mains socket and the device has completely cooled down.
The product does not switch on
• Check whether the mains plug is correctly connected. Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet and plug it
back in after 10 seconds.
• Make sure that the outlet is live. Connect another device to the wall outlet. If this appliance also does not switch
on, consult an electrician.
The product becomes noisy during wet vacuum cleaning
• The product features a float safety switch which closes when the maximum tank level is reached during the wet
vacuum cleaning operation. When this happens, the suctions noise of the equipment will change and become
louder.
• Switch off the product and empty the container then restart the operation.
Poor suction power
• Check whether the paper bag is full and replace if necessary.
• Check whether the tube, the hose or the nozzles are clogged.
Motor is unusually loud
• Immediately stop operation of the product.
• Check whether the tube, the hose or the nozzles are clogged.
• If the problem persists, switch the product off. Pull out the mains plug and contact a specialist.
12. Disposal
This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU market. This symbol
indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service
life.
Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose of it separately from
unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators, which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well
as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users
from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.
Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back of waste. Conrad
