DISCLAIMER
Carefully read this entire document and all safe and lawful practices
provided before use.
WARNING
1. Keep the lens protected when used in rainy or humid environments
and DO NOT use in dusty environments. If dust or liquid gets inside
the lens, the performance may be negatively affected.
2. Place the camera and the lens on a flat surface. Otherwise, the camera
and lens may fall and be damaged.
3. DO NOT scratch the lens. Be sure to protect the lens during
transportation.
4. DO NOT place the lens under direct sunlight. Strong light may damage
the lens and may even cause a fire hazard.

suitable for landscape, as well as interior and architectural photography.
• Ultra wide-angle: provides the widest angle of view in the Hasselblad X
System lens range until now.*
• Upgraded leaf shutter: provides a shutter speed of up to 1/2000s and
delivers flash synchronisation at all speeds.
• Newly designed focusing module: for quick and accurate focusing.
* Up until the release of the XCD 3,2-4,5/20-35E lens.
MTF
Every Hasselblad lens is manufactured under strict regulations and must
pass multiple stringent tests. An MTF chart is used to reflect the ability of a
lens to reproduce contrast and resolve details. Low spatial frequencies
reflect overall contrast and high spatial frequencies reflect detail
resolution. MTF 100% indicates ideal performance.
The horizontal axis represents the image height (distance of a given point
on the lens from the center of the sensor). The vertical axis represents the
contrast value (maximum number of 100).
Modulation Transfer as a function of image height at infinity settings.
Sagittal slit orientation drawn with continuous line and tangential with
dashed. White light. Spatial frequencies 10, 20, and 40 lp/mm.
