Check that the food has not already
been frozen. This is because frozen
foods that have thawed completely
should not be refrozen.
Once thawed, food should be eaten
quickly.
• To prevent spoilage of food due to
transfer of germs: Store unpackaged
animal and plant products separately
in drawers. This also applies to
different kinds of meat.
• If food must be kept together due to
lack of space: wrap it.
• Never store fruits and vegetables on
a balcony with meat or fish.
