4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Make sure to unplug the appliance after use and before storing it.

Store the mini fridge in a cool, dry place. Always make sure it is completely dry before
storing it.

Always let the mini fridge dry completely with the door open before storing it. Keep the
door open while the appliance reaches room temperature to avoid moisture and mould
formation inside the appliance.

Clean the mini fridge with a soft, damp cloth.

Do not immerse the appliance in water.

It is common for condensation to form inside the mini fridge: be sure to clean it frequently
to prevent bad odours and ensure proper operation.

Keep ventilation openings clean from dirt and clear to prevent overheating.

When storing or transporting the device, avoid placing it upside down, dropping it or
subjecting it to shocks.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
The mini fridge does not work
1. Check the condition of the power cables.
2. Make sure the sockets are in good condition and clean them if necessary.
The mini fridge does not reach the desired temperature
1. Make sure that the switch is in the desired mode and check if the fan is working properly. If
the mini fridge is not working properly, please contact the official Cecotec Service Centre.
2. The lowest possible temperature depends on the surrounding environment. The colder the
room temperature, the cooler the mini fridge will be.
Tips for better cooling

Place the appliance more than 5 cm away from the wall to ensure good heat dissipation.

To ensure optimum performance, do not use the mini fridge in places with a high room
temperature.

Avoid direct cooling of hot objects.
Condensation/frost appearing inside

The mini fridge works on a thermoelectric system and the difference in temperature
between inside and outside or frequent opening of the door will cause interior condensation
or frost formation, which is normal.

It is not recommended to keep the door open or to open or close it frequently. Do not
attempt to directly cool down hot items.
