Checks:
• This product must be checked periodically and the results of these checks must be recorded (see manufacturer's checklist FV-
02976-xxx).
The regulatory checks (set forth in the order of 21 December 2004) are broken down as follows:
A pre-commissioning check at each installation site:
- for the first use.
- for dismantling followed by reassembly of the mobile access and work tower.
- after a change in the conditions of use, or atmospheric or environmental conditions that may affect the safe use of the mobile
access and work tower.
- after use is interrupted for at least one month.
It includes a suitability test, an assembly and installation test and a condition test. This verification can be traced in the
establishment's safety records.
A daily check
It includes an examination of the maintenance state.
This verification can be traced by a sheet placed on the access hatch.
A quarterly check
As the scope of this check for the mobile access and work tower is comparable to the daily check, the check carried out at least
once every 3 months is recorded in the establishment's safety records.
N.B.: These checks may only be carried out by personnel that hold a certificate of competence issued by the head of the
establishment, bearing the words "Verifier and User".

Section 7: Dismantling

Before dismantling:
- Make sure the mobile access and working tower is stable:
- All components, tools and other equipment required to assemble the mobile tower must be available on site.
- Locked brake wheels
- Well positioned stabilisers etc.
- Use ropes to handle the elements if necessary.

Before handling:
- Replace the pins on the elements.
- Isolate worn components to be replaced.

During dismantling:
Use the assembly procedure in the exact reverse order.
Two people are required for dismantling and PPE must be used.
Store the mobile tower in a dry, uncluttered, secure place where it cannot be damaged or become an obstacle
Make sure not to dismantle the stabilisers first.
