Use
Open and fill the product with up to 8kg in
weight. Use the product as a backpack.
Adjusting the height-adjustable
carrying system
The height-adjustable carrying system is for
adjusting the height of the product to a person's
back.
Note: The backpack should be initially adjusted
with the help of a second person and once
correctly adjusted only needs to be checked at
regular intervals to see if the height still matches
the back.
1. Fill the product to a maximum of 8kg.
2. Open the chest strap and hip strap and loos-
en the shoulder straps.
3. Help to put on the backpack.
4. To adjust the height of the product on the
back, loosen the Velcro tab on the height-ad-
justable carrying system (Fig. A).
5. To do this, pull the Velcro straps (1a) up
through the back loops (1b) until the desired
height is reached (Fig. B) and fasten the
Velcro straps to the Velcro tab.
Note: The shoulders are optimally padded
when the harness yoke on the backpack is
between the shoulder blades. The shoulders
are thus optimally encompassed. The hip strap
should be at the level of the hip bones.
Adjusting the hip, shoulder and
chest straps
Please note that the product should be worn as
close to the back as possible so as to reduce the
leverage effect of the weight.
1. Taking the hip strap, bend slightly forwards
and pull the product up until the padded part
of the hip strap is centred level with your hip
bones.
2. Close the hip strap by connecting the buckles
(Fig. C). You can adjust the length of the hip
strap by pulling or pushing on the end of the
strap (Fig. D).
Note: The clasp on the hip strap is sitting cor-
rectly when it is approximately aligned with the
waistband or the top button of your trousers.
