ASSEMBLY
UNPACKING
This product requires assembly.
Carefully remove the product and any accessories from
the box. Make sure that all items listed in the Packing
List are included.
WARNING:
Do not use this product if any parts in the Packing
List are already assembled to your product when
you unpack it. Parts on this list are not assembled
to the product by the manufacturer and require
customer installation. Use of a product that may
have been improperly assembled could result in
serious personal injury.
Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage
or damage occurred during shipping.
Do not discard the packing material until you have care-
fully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.
If any parts are damaged or missing, please call

WARNING:
If any parts are damaged or missing do not oper-
ate this product until the parts are replaced. Use of
this product with damaged or missing parts could
result in serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Do not attempt to modify this product or create
accessories not recommended for use with this
blower. Any such alteration or modification is
misuse and could result in a hazardous condition
leading to possible serious personal injury.
WARNING:
To prevent accidental starting that could cause
serious personal injury, always remove the battery
pack from the tool when assembling parts.
WARNING:
This product is intended for blower use only and
is not designed for vacuum use. Do not attempt
to remove the main reducer housing that covers
the impellers. Removal of the main reducer hous-
ing will expose the moving impellers and contact
with these impeller blades can result in serious
personal injury.
INSTALLING THE BLOWER TUBE
See Figure 2.
Place the blower tube on the blower housing outlet and
press together until the latch locks onto the tab on the
blower housing.
NOTE: Pull on the blower tube to be sure it is securely
installed. Once secured, the tube cannot be removed
from the blower housing until the latch is released.
NOTICE:
When correctly assembled, the tube is difficult to
separate. If it can be easily removed, the tube is
not locked. Check that the tab is fastened securely
onto the latch. If the tube is not in the locked posi-
tion, it can separate during blower operation.
To remove the tube, depress the latch to release and
remove it from the blower housing outlet.
To install the speed tip: Align the latch on the speed tip
with the tab on the blower tube and press together until
the speed tip locks into place.
To remove the speed tip: Depress the latch and slide
the speed tip off.
