TRANSMITTER
Opening the transmitter and inserting the battery
1. The transmitter has a small slot on its side to open the enclosure.
Insert a screwdriver in the enclosure slot and turn gently to open
the enclosure.
2. Remove screw (A) and remove the board.
3. Remove the old battery and insert a new one (type CR 2032) into
the battery holder with the positive pole facing upward.
4. Put the board back in place and fix it again with the screw (A).
5. Reassemble the housing. The transmitter is now ready for use.
Repeat this procedure for each transmitter.
Mounting the transmitter
Each transmitter may be mounted either by means of the included
double sided adhesive tape or with screws. The transmitter should not
be mounted on metal since this would significantly limit the range.
Provisionally mount and test the transmitter before mounting in its
final position.
Use the pre-punched holes on the back of the enclosure should you
mount the transmitter with screws. These holes are closed ex-factory
to prevent moisture from entering the transmitter should the latter
be mounted using only double-sided adhesive tape. These holes may
simply be pierced with the screw. Screws and dowels are not included
in delivery.
RECEIVER
The receiver may be used as a standing unit or mounted to the wall.
To use as a standing unit, push the feet out of the enclosure in the
direction of the arrow.
For wall mounting, the receiver has two holes at the back to hang
it from. The two holes are spaced 73 mm apart (hole centre to hole
centre). The heads of the mounting screws should measure between
4 mm and 6 mm to optimally affix the receiver.
Insert batteries / connect power supply (batteries and mains
unit not included in delivery)
Remove the battery compartment cover and insert 3 AA batteries in the
battery compartment, observing correct polarity. Then close the battery
compartment again with the cover. The receiver is now ready to use.
The receiver may alternatively also be operated with a mains unit.
The wall power supply must provide 5 V DC and at least 300 mA. The
coaxial output of the mains unit must have its positive pole in the
centre. Outside diameter of the coaxial connector: 3.5 mm; inside
diameter: 1.5 mm.
Note: Rechargebale batteries not recommended.
Operation
When a transmitter is pressed, the receiver plays a preset tune and the
LED next to the label area on the transmitter flashes. If another trans-
mitter is also pressed, its LED on the receiver will also start flashing. The
LEDs continue flashing until the tune button is pressed on the receiver.
Matching / Coding
1. There is a code button (4) on the left side of the receiver. Keep
pressing the button for about 3 sec. until a "Di" sound is heard.
While the first-channel LED light keeps flashing, the receiver is in
code matching status and you can press a transmitter to match this
channel.
2. Each time you press the code button, the LED light switches to the
next channel and the next transmitter can be paired.
3. When pairing, you can also press the melody button (5) to choose
different sounds for each transmitter.
4. The duration of auto-learning code is 60 seconds, after that the
receiver will automatically exit the learning mode (or by pressing
the code button for 2 sec. to exit).
Reset to factory settings
Keep pressing the melody button for about 5s and release when all LED
lights flash five times and a five-time „Di Di" sound is heard indicating
that all transmitters have been deleted from the receiver and the
receiver is reset to factory settings.
Adjusting the volume
By pressing the volume key (3) repeatedly, the volume
can be adjusted in 6 steps.
