Product usage
Iron without steam
1.
Plug the iron into a mains power supply.
2.
To increase the temperature of the iron, rotate the temperature control dial in clockwise
direction until the required temperature is selected.
To reduce the temperature, rotate the temperature control dial in anticlockwise direction.
The temperature indicator light will illuminate to indicate that the iron is heating up. The
temperature indictor light will turn off when the iron reaches the desired temperature
and is ready to use.
3.
After finish ironing, rotate the temperature control dial to the "Min." position.
4.
Unplug the iron from the mains power supply.
NOTE: When the iron is not in use or you temporarily stop ironing, ensure that
the iron is rested and locked on the base unit.
Easy-carry lock
The easy-carry lock attached to the base unit is designed for transporting the steam iron
with ease.
To lock the iron on the base unit, lift the lock upwards until it clicks into position.
To unlock the iron from the base unit, push the lock downwards to release the iron.
NOTE: When the iron is not in use, it should be rested and locked in position with
the base unit.
Hints and tips
•
Always start on a low-heat setting and work up to a higher one where it is needed. It takes
less time for the steam iron to heat up than it does to cool down.
•
We recommend that the steam button should be used for short bursts rather than prolonged
periods of time. This can prevent water dripping from the steam holes and can reduce
the frequency of needing to refill the water tank.
•
Before each use, check the care labels on the fabrics to be ironed and select the correct
temperature setting.
