The appliance ready to use, remove all packaging materials and check the integrity of the appliance in its entirety.
Place it on a dry and even surface, connect it to the wall socket; the display lights up, and the appliance enters
stand-by mode.
Due to the energy saving function, the display will automatically turn off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
ON/OFF key
Press the ON/OFF key to switch the appliance on, it will start operating at the lowest wind setting (F1); press the
key again to turn the appliance off (it will go back to stand by mode).
SPEED key
Press the SPEED key to select the wind setting among low (F1), medium (F2) and max (F3). The display will
show the selected option.
SWING key
Press SWING key to activate swing function, the indicator lights up on the display; press the key again to turn
this function off.
Note: do not rotate the fan manually and do not force the rotation of the fan, to avoid damages.
TIMER key
Press the TIMER key to set the automatic switching off of the appliance, from 00 to 15 hours; the selection will
blink 4 times on the display, then the display will show the selected wind setting.
WIND key (only from remote control)
Press the WIND key to set the desired wind mode.
Normal: the appliance will produce constant wind; the MODE indicator is off
Nature: the appliance will simulate a natural breeze, operating at different wind speeds; the display will show
the relevant indicator.
Sleep: the appliance will simulate a light and pleasant breeze suitable for night operation. The display will show
the relevant indicator.
Use of remote-control Fig. C
The appliance is equipped with a remote control, which operates with a CR2025 (3V) type battery already instal-
led. To activate the battery, remove the protective tongue by gently pulling it out.
All the functions selectable from the display can also be activated by the remote control.
To replace the battery, take out the battery lodging, remove the exhausted battery and insert a new one, paying
attention to the polarity indicated. Replace the lodging inside the remote control.
Check the provisions of your municipality for the correct disposal of the exhausted battery.
Cleaning and maintenance
Make sure that the appliance is off and disconnected from the wall socket before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance operations.
Remove any dirt or dust from the external surface of the appliance and the display, using a soft cloth slightly
dampened with water and neutral detergent.
Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents, because they could damage the paint finishing of the appliance.
The appliance is equipped with an active carbon filter that enhances air quality and circulation.
The service life of the filter can vary greatly depending on the more or less intensive use of the fan, and on its
proper maintenance; generally, it is advisable to change the filter every 12 months.
To access the filter, remove the cover from the back of the appliance, using the small clips; gently take out the
filter and replace it with a new one. Put the cover back in position and close it firmly, to avoid it falling during
operation of the appliance.
