2.2 Safety instructions for operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
Warning! Do not cover the product, block the inlet or
outlet air – fire risk.
Caution! Some parts of this product can become very
hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given
where children and vulnerable people are present.
● Read the warning instructions that follow before you use
the product.
● This product can be used by children from 8 years and
upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or
mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or
knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions
concerning the safe use of the product and understand
the risks involved with its use. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be carried out by children unless they are more
than 8 years old, and are kept under supervision.
● Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of
children under 8 years of age.
● The product must be connected to an earthed power
outlet.
● Do not pull the power cable to remove the power plug.
● Keep children of less than 3 years and animals away from
the product unless continuously supervised.
● Put the product on a smooth, flat, stable ground. Do not
tilt or turn the product upside down.
● The product gets very hot when in use. Put the product at
a safe distance from flammable objects such as furniture
and curtains, etc.
● Do not put the product under a power outlet.
● Protect the product from dust and moisture. Do not put it
outdoors in rainy weather.
● Do not connect the product to a timer or other similar
device that start the product automatically.
● Do not put the product in rooms where flammable liquids
or gas are used or stored.
● If an extension cord is used, it must be as short as
possible but no longer than 3 m, and must be fully
unwound.
● Do not connect other appliances to the same power
outlet as the product.
● Do not use the product near a bath, shower or swimming
pool.
● The power coupler is waterproof when not in use. In
order to prevent possible electric shock or leakage
current, never use the product with wet hand or operate
the appliance when there is water on the power cord.
● Do not put the product in a moving vehicle, or in such a
way that it can tip over.
● Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are
damaged in any way. For safety reasons, the power cord
must only be replaced or repaired by an electrician or
authorized service centre.
● The product must have a free space of 100 cm in front
and behind, and 50 cm of free space on the sides.
● Do not use the product if it is damaged.
● Do not modify the product.
● The product must only be used for its intended purpose.

Operation
3.1
To operate the product
Note! When the product is used for the first time, it may emit
some smoke. This is normal and stops after a while.

Put the product upright on a flat ground at a safe
distance from flammable objects.

Connect the product to a power outlet.

Turn the thermostat knob to the MAX position and
turn the mode selector to full power. When the
applicable room temperature has been reached, turn
the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until the
thermostat stops.
Note! The thermostat will start and stop the heat automati-
cally to regulate the room temperature to the set value.
3.2 To stop the product
● Turn the thermostat knob to minimum temperature and
the mode selection knob to fan mode. Allow the fan to
cool the product for 2 minutes and then turn the mode
selection knob to "0" before you turn off and pull out the
plug.
3.3 Overheat protection
Note! The overheating protection is activated when the
temperature reaches 80°C.
