high-quality alkaline batteries can be recharged up to ten times, allowing them to hold about 75 to
90% of their power until the batteries run out. These batteries should not be completely drained
before recharging. The charger will automatically start charging (the display will show "CHA" for
"charging"). The battery icon will be displayed on the screen. When the battery is fully charged, the
display shows the word "OK". The icon of the charged battery appears on the screen and the
indicator turns green. Although alkaline batteries can be recharged multiple times, due to their
chemical nature they will reach a point where additional recharges will yield insufficient results. The
performance of a recharged alkaline battery depends primarily on both the size and brand of the
battery, as well as the device in which it's being used.
The 9V battery bay does not have a corresponding readout on the LCD display. The red 9V LED
light indicates that the battery is being charged. When the light goes out the battery is fully charged.
The charger is able to recharge 3.7V Lithium-ion batteries only. It will not recharge
non-rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Do not attempt to charge/recharge non-rechargeable
lithium batteries. Risk of battery explosion may result.
Use the 1A USB port to charge smartphones and the 2.4A USB port to charge tablets.
When the batteries are fully charged, it's not necessary to remove them immediately as the charger
will automatically keep it at its optimum capacity.
