12. Hook the two long straps (40) together behind the tree with the
large carabiner (42). SEE FIGURE 5. Be sure to lock the carabiner
with the screw locking mechanism. SEE FIGURES 6 A-C.
13. Unwrap the tether rope (38) from the ladder. Pull the rope down
to raise the two long straps and carabiner up the back of the tree.
SEE FIGURE 7. As the carabiner nears the top, you may have to
use a back and forth "sawing" motion with the two straps so that
the carabiner rises all the way up directly behind the bottom tree
blade (14). The straps should be parallel with the platform of the
stand. SEE FIGURE 8. If needed, you can use the stabilizer bar and
stabilizer bar extension (25 and 24) to help raise the carabiner up.
WARNING
DO NOT use this product without the carabiner in the
locked position. Failure to follow these instructions may
result in serious injury or death!
