Before installation of the panel remove the polystyrene recess
former. Any polystyrene left in the gap between the U-shaped
bracket and the angle bracket can be removed using the
perforated strap.
Insert the perforated strap between the U-shaped bracket and angle
bracket. Pre-assemble the perforated strap to the required length
according to the calculation. Secure the perforated strap using the
locking bolt (rotate the bolt half a turn = 180°) and bend the strap
over the angle bracket.
Apply the correct torque to the nuts acc. to the table below.
Torques for bottom cast-in support
→ Type FPA-3:
Assemble the rocker connector, washer and nut onto the threaded
rod of the perforated strap The precast panel with the pre-assembled
FPA-3 hanger is then inserted into the counterpart in the main
support structure ①. Adjust the precast panel.
During adjustment the precast panel remains suspended

from the crane hook.
→ Types FPA-5 / -5Z / -5A/ -5AZ / -5S:
Attach the top bracket to the threaded rod of the perforated
strap, using the washer and nut; for types FPA-5Z, -5A and -5AZ
we recommend using the top bracket as a template to faciliate
correct placing of the drill holes before assembly (for fixing
dowels).
Attach the precast panel with the FPA-5 hanger assembly to the load
bearing structure (cast-in anchor channel or on-site drilled bolt).
Adjust the precast panel. During adjustment the precast panel
remains suspended from the crane hook.
The hexagon nuts of the FPA-system are factory
coated with a Molykote® HSC-Spray. In some cases;
for example after pro-longed storage outside, it
may be necessary to renew this coating.
