Battery protection mode
The intelligent battery protection system will prevent the refrigerator to drain the vehicle
battery.
If the supply voltage falls below a set level, the refrigerator will switch off. Once the voltage
reaches the restart voltage level, the refrigerator will automatically switch back on.
The battery protection mode can be set to three levels, following the table below:
12V

Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning
Occasionally clean the refrigerator with a damp cloth and leave it to dry.
–
Make sure the refrigerator is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning to
avoid electric shocks.
–
Do not soak the device in water or clean it under running water.
–
Do not use hard objects or abrasive cleaning agents as these can damage the device.
–
Periodically check the air inlet and outlet vents for dust or dirt blocking the airflow.
Defrosting
The refrigerator must be defrosted from time to time. Due to humidity, frost can settle on the
evaporator and will reduce the cooling capacity of the device.
–
Make sure the refrigerator is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning to
avoid electric shocks.
–
Never use sharp objects to defrost the device as they can damage the refrigerant circuit.
–
Do not use mechanical objects or other means speeding up the defrosting process as
they can damage the device.
–
Remove the melt water (by removing the drain plug if applicable)
–
Clean with a damp cloth and leave it to dry.
Storage
When the device is left unused for a longer period of time:
–
Disconnect the power cable and make sure the device is switched off.
–
Leave the device for some time to defrost.
–
Clean and dry the device.
–
When the refrigerator is not in use for a long time, leave the door and/or the freezer
compartment open to prevent mold and odor development in the cooling compartment.
