SPECIFIC WARNINGS
OPERATING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. DO NOT use other liquid than water to make the ice-cubes.
2. If the ice maker is brought in from outside in wintertime, give it a few hours to
warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.
3. DO NOT use other types of electrical appliances inside the icemaker.
4. DO NOT store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable
propellant in this appliance.
5. DO NOT use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting
process or ice harvesting process, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ELECTRICAL CORD AND PLUG
1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug, If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.
2. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from
entanglement or tripping.
3. We do not recommend the use of an extension cord, as it may overheat
and become a fire hazard. If you must use an extension cord, use No.14AWG
minimum size and rated no less than 1875 watts.
• When using a longer cord or extension cord, make sure that the cord does
not drape over a counter top or tabletop, where it can be pulled on or tripped
over unintentionally.
4. The manufacturer does not recommend using this machine in countries that do
not support 120V AC even if a voltage adapter, transformer, or converter is used.
