5 Operation
5.1 Funktionsweise
•
Adjust the suspension point of the device (narrow approx. 20 mm - 60 mm [A], wide approx. 60
mm - 80 mm [B]) using the wing nut and bolt.
•
Attach lifting gear (belt/sling, chain or crane hook) to the suspension eye [D].
•
The PC-200 device is positioned centrally on the stationary load (see illustration ①).
•
To grip the item to be gripped, the spring pin [C] on the clamping arm (see Fig. ②) must be
pulled so that the clamping jaws are in full contact with the item to be gripped (see Fig. ③).
•
CAUTION Risk of crushing
•
Use suitable lifting gear/carrying device to lift the gripped item with the PC-200 device.
•
As soon as the gripped item is hanging on the carrier device, check that the gripped item is
hanging vertically (see figure ④).
This ensures that the gripped item hangs almost vertically and horizontally.
If this is not the case, the position of the PC-200 device must be changed accordingly or the
other suspension point must be selected.
ATTENTION: To do this, the device must be placed completely on the floor with the gripped
item already gripped. Otherwise there is a risk of accident!
•
After setting down the gripped item, the clamping jaw must be opened again by pressing
down on the handles (spring pin engages automatically).
